Warisan Musik Ibadah Israel Kuno dalam Liturgi Gereja Pentakosta Kharismatik
Abstract
Penelitian ini menyelidiki kesinambungan warisan musik ibadah Israel Kuno dalam praktik liturgi Gereja Pentakosta Kharismatik kontemporer. Latar belakang masalah berakar pada fenomena ibadah karismatik yang dinamis, yang kerap dianggap sebagai inovasi modern, padahal menunjukkan resonansi kuat dengan pola-pola musik ibadah dalam Perjanjian Lama. Pertanyaan penelitian difokuskan pada bagaimana unsur-unsur musik Israel Kuno diidentifikasi, diadaptasi, dan dialami kembali dalam konteks Pentakosta Kharismatik. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif berbasis studi literatur teologis-historis dan analisis deskriptif-komparatif, penelitian ini menganalisis data primer dari Kitab Mazmur dan dokumentasi liturgi karismatik. Pembahasan mengungkap tiga kesinambungan utama: (1) fungsi musik sebagai saluran nubuat dan firman, (2) struktur ibadah responsorial dan partisipasi jemaat, serta (3) ekspresi sukacita dan gerak tubuh yang holistik. Simpulan penelitian menegaskan bahwa ibadah Pentakosta Kharismatik bukanlah fenomena baru, melainkan bentuk adaptasi dan revitalisasi dari warisan musik ibadah Israel Kuno yang dialami kembali melalui lensa teologi Karismatik dan pengalaman Roh Kudus. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini memberikan landasan alkitabiah yang kokoh bagi praktik ibadah yang ekspresif dan partisipatif.
